Women and children can stay up to six weeks, during which time an assessment of their needs (therapeutic and non-therapeutic) is conducted.  Depending on the results of this assessment, the Safehouse provides counseling, parenting coaching, case management, and advocacy to clients.  Assistance is also offered around finding permanent safe housing, employment, childcare, adult educational opportunities, and even new identities, should that be necessary for their situation.

Peak Vista is accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc (AAAHC). This is a health care center funded by the federal government. This means even if you have no insurance you can be covered. The center is also income based for those making an income. This health center can cover services such as checkups, treatment, pregnancy care (where applicable), immunizations and child care (where applicable), prescription medicine and mental and substance abuse where applicable.
